About Us

GOAL is a nontraditional 6-12 public school within Greene County School district with classes taught by highly qualified, certified Greene County teachers. All courses are aligned with the district’s instructional goals and Tennessee’s academic standards, curriculum frameworks, and assessments. Courses are accredited and approved by the Tennessee Department of Education and Tennessee State Board of Education. As a public school, GOAL also falls under the accountability system for Tennessee schools thereby being responsible for raising overall achievement and closing gaps between student subgroups.
